When is “time of pitch?”
The time of pitch is the moment the pitcher’s movements commit the pitcher to deliver the ball to the batter. In a windup, it is the start of the windup or delivery. From the set position, it is the moment the pitcher begins the natural movement of his delivery after the pitcher has come set with both hands together in front of his body.
