The Blue Jays hosted the Yankees on May 5. In the top of the second inning the Yankees had Gregorio Petit on second base and two outs with Jacoby Ellsbury at the plate. Ellsbury had a count of 1-1 facing Marco Estrada. Ellsbury singled to left field scoring Petit.
